Patience…

One of the most difficult virtues.

In today’s world where everything is fast, patience has become even more difficult. We want everything immediately. We can’t wait.

But some things take time. They can’t be rushed.

Relationships take time to develop. Trust takes time to build. Success takes time to achieve.

If we’re not patient, we give up too early. We never see the result of our efforts.

Patience is a sign of maturity. Mature people know that not everything happens immediately. They can wait, they can be patient.

I’m not a very patient person. I never was. But over the years I’ve learned to be more patient.

And this has made me much happier. Because when you’re patient, you don’t get stressed, you don’t get anxious. You know that everything happens in its own time.

So let’s be patient. Let’s allow things to happen in their own time. Because what’s worth having is worth waiting for…
